For a wedding morning or an early photoshoot, the alarm can go off long before sunrise.
Before heading out, our artists review the booking details: your location, requested look, services and ready time. Knowing when you need to step out the door helps shape the whole appointment.
Then it's time to load the kit and get on the road.
The Kit
A Studio in a Suitcase
Working on location means bringing the essentials with us. A professional kit is carefully organised to make products easy to find and keep the appointment running smoothly.
Inside, you'll find skin preparation products, complexion shades, eye and lip colours, clean brushes and disposable applicators. For hair bookings, there are styling tools, pins and finishing products, too.
Preparation continues between appointments, with tools cleaned, supplies replenished and products checked for the next client. It's a quieter part of the job, but it deserves just as much attention as the finished look.
On the Road

A mobile artist's schedule includes more than time in the makeup chair. Traffic, parking, hotel access and the journey between bookings all need to be considered.
We plan around your ready time and allow space for setting up. Clear arrival instructions and parking details help us get from the car to your door with everything we need.

A clear table, a suitable chair and good natural light are ideal. For hair styling, we also need access to a power point.
Once the kit is unpacked and the brushes are laid out, you can settle in. We'll talk through your preferences, look at any inspiration photos and make sure we understand how you want to feel in your finished look.

Every appointment is personal. Some clients love fresh, barely-there makeup; others want defined eyes, polished waves or a statement lip.
