Terms & Conditions
Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policy
1. Bookings & Deposits
All bookings require a 50% deposit to secure the appointment date, time, and artist.
By paying a deposit, the Client agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full.
All deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required by law or otherwise approved in writing by Alysha Maree Makeup.
Availability, including any requested artist, is not guaranteed until the deposit has been received. Late payment of a deposit may result in the booking being allocated to another available artist.
2. Payment Terms
The remaining balance must be paid as follows:
- Weddings / Large Group Bookings (4 or more services): Full balance due 7 days prior to the booking date
- Individual / Small Group Bookings (1–3 services): Full balance due 48 hours prior to the booking date
Failure to make payment by the required deadline may result in cancellation of the booking, with all monies paid forfeited.
Payments may be made via card or bank transfer (Australian clients only). Card payment fees apply where applicable. Bank transfer payments must include the Client's full name or email as a reference.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 General
All deposits are non-refundable in all circumstances, including change of mind.
3.2 Weddings & Large Group Bookings (4+ services)
Where a Client cancels, postpones, or reduces services:
- More than 7 days prior to booking: 50% of the total booking value will be retained or payable
- Within 7 days of booking: 100% of the total booking value will be retained or payable
3.3 Individual & Small Group Bookings (1–3 services)
Where a Client cancels, postpones, or reduces services:
- More than 48 hours prior to booking: 50% of the total booking value will be retained or payable
- Within 48 hours of booking: 100% of the total booking value will be retained or payable
Where cancellation fees exceed the deposit paid, Alysha Maree Makeup reserves the right to invoice the Client for the outstanding balance, payable within 3 business days.
4. Changes & Rescheduling
All changes and rescheduling requests are subject to availability.
A $50 rescheduling fee applies to any booking rescheduled within 7 days of the appointment.
If the originally assigned artist is unavailable for the new date, Alysha Maree Makeup reserves the right to allocate a different artist or treat the request as a cancellation.
Changes to booking details, including service reductions, may be treated as a partial cancellation and fees may apply in accordance with Section 3.
5. Trials
Trial bookings are non-refundable.
If the Client chooses not to proceed after a trial, all payments made remain non-refundable. Additional trials may be booked with alternative artists, subject to availability and additional fees.
6. Change of Mind
All payments made are non-refundable for change of mind.
At Alysha Maree Makeup's discretion, a credit (with no expiry) may be issued for future use, excluding lashes.
No refunds or credits are provided for lashes once purchased. Clients must advise prior to payment if they do not wish to include lashes.
7. Client Responsibilities
The Client must:
- Provide a full and accurate booking address at least 48 hours prior to the appointment
- Arrive on time or ensure access to the location is available at the scheduled start time
- Ensure hair is completely dry prior to the appointment
Failure to provide required information or meet preparation requirements may result in delays, reduced service time, additional fees, or cancellation without refund.
8. Timing & Late Arrival
Alysha Maree Makeup allocates sufficient time for travel, parking, and completion of services.
If the Artist is late but services are still completed within the allocated booking time, no refund or reduction in fees will apply.
If a client arrives late, Alysha Maree Makeup reserves the right to adjust or reduce services to stay within the scheduled booking time. If services cannot be completed due to lateness, they may be shortened or cancelled without refund.
9. Location & Travel
Any changes to the booking location may result in additional travel or parking fees and may require reassignment of an artist.
All parking costs, including hotel or valet parking, must be covered by the Client.
10. Additional Fees
Additional charges may apply, including but not limited to:
- Clip-in extensions: $30
- Long hair (waist-length or longer): from $20
- Hollywood waves: $50 per person
- Upstyles: $20 per person
- Hair drying (if required): $60
Clients must notify Alysha Maree Makeup in advance of any applicable requirements.
11. Artist Allocation
Where bookings are made more than 12 months in advance, Alysha Maree Makeup reserves the right to change the assigned artist if required.
12. Force Majeure
In circumstances beyond reasonable control (including but not limited to extreme weather, illness, or government restrictions), Alysha Maree Makeup will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the booking. Any transfer of payments will be at the company's discretion.
